The Catja Sheer Print Dress is the ultimate expression of bold, feminine design - and makes the transition from day to night a breeze. The striking print was inspired by the uniformity and fluid patterns created in ploughed fields and is balanced through soft, pastel colours. This sheer design comes with a slip and matches beautifully with a simple sneaker for a daytime look - or can be worn without the slip over a pair of slim jeans for a different spin on an evening look.
42% Viscose & 58% Rayon
This sheer fabric has a smooth finish that perfectly drapes on the body without clinging, resulting in a floaty, luxurious garment. Viscose has a breathability that is perfect for trans-seasonal dressing. Please follow the care instructions on your garment so you can wear for many seasons to come.
Viscose is made from cellulose from timber that has been processed and spun into fine fibres. We are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that our forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry. The viscose fibres in this garment are from producers with a green shirt ranking according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. These producers are considered low risk or have taken substantive action to eliminate risk of sourcing from ancient and endangered forests.
This garment was designed by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making woven and knitted apparel. He has a team of 80 plus workers, the majority of whom are women. The factory is signed up to Sedex and undertakes regular SMETA audits. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements and operate an ethical and sustainable business. We visit Jimmy at least twice a year and he visits our team in Melbourne annually.
Size & Fit
This dress is perfect for comfort. The relaxed fit is intended to drape loosely over the body, with a mid-length sleeve and waistbelt to cinch and create the desired silhouette. The bust and waist are the important fit points, however, we recommend taking your usual size.
