Material

100% Organic Cotton Jersey

This fabric has a natural stretch with a slight structure, allowing the fabric to sit away from the body and provide shape and form to the garment. Cotton fabrics are cool, comfortable and breathable.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, hazardous pesticides or genetically engineered seed, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility. Cotton is a naturally renewable and biodegradable fibre.

This garment is recyclable where local options are available.

Maker

This garment was designed by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making woven and knitted apparel. He has a team of 80 plus workers, the majority of which are women. The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA audits. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements and operate an ethical and sustainable business. We visit Jimmy at least twice a year and he visits our team in Melbourne annually.

Size & Fit

This dress is perfect for comfort. The relaxed fit is intended to drape loosely over the body, with a mid-length sleeve and waistbelt to cinch and create the desired silhouette. The bust and waist are the important fit points, however we recommend taking your usual size.
