Material

100% Cupro - Elk preferred fibre

Made from a cellulose fibre, Cupro is a breathable, fine material that is soft to touch and beautiful to wear and has a similar feel to silk. It's a unique fabric as it is hypoallergenic, anti-static, stretch-resistant, incredibly durable and dries quickly. This material is also one of the most sustainable choices with the lowest impacts as it is produced in a 'closed loop' which means the chemicals used can be extracted after production and the water can be reused.

Maker

These garments were made by Fluid Connection who were established in 2006 and are located in Hangzhou, China. They have been making garments for us since 2016 and we visit the operation at least twice a year. The factory that we make our products in is a relatively small operation but quite modern with automated systems for efficiencies and quality. They are members of Sedex and we chose to operate with them not only for their skills but as they are located close to out fabric and trims suppliers, this reduces transportation impacts and shares other third party suppliers such as dye and print houses. They are actively working with us on ways to improve the sustainable profiles of our product through alternative packaging methods and improved trims.
