The Nima Hoop Earring is a classic hoop style with an omega hoop backing. The earring features wooden disc beads and contrasting metal disks looped loosely through the metal hoop. The wooden beads are crafted from plantation timber and hand-dyed using organic colour dyes. This style is available in three versatile colourways.

We use a variety of techniques to make this piece, include casting, polishing and high-quality plating. The result is a super light, fine finish. Texture is added through the addition of natural wooden beads, providing a unique yet lightweight finish. The metal used in ELK jewellery is nickel free and meets the EU REACH standards.

This jewellery piece was hand made by skilled artisans in the Philippines, using mamalis timber (Pittosporum Pentandrum), also known as white wood or pangantoon.

The timber was grown in the Philippines in managed plantations.

Each wooden bead is hand turned and custom dyed, followed with a natural wax polish for surface protection.
