How it Works

1. Before use, insert 2 AA batteries and lock the lid into place.
2. Fill a glass beaker with between 2 and 4 oz of milk – it’s best to use cold, low-fat milk, though you can use warm or full-fat milk or non-dairy options if you prefer.
3. Insert the SCHIUMA milk frother so the tip of the wand is close to the bottom of the beaker. Switch on the power button and slowly move the frother up and down until the milk has doubled in volume (about 25 to 30 seconds).
4. If you wish, you can heat the frothed milk for 30 seconds in the microwave before use.

For instance, green tea is not prepared with boiling water but, depending on the variety, with water at between 60 and 90 degrees Celsius. The temperature selection can be changed to a higher temperature at any time during the heating process by simply setting the temperature knob to the desired number of degrees.

Pressing the On/Off switch starts the heating process. The switch will flash until the selected water temperature has been reached or the water is boiling. Then it stops and an acoustic signal sounds. The unit is equipped with a keep-warm function that keeps the water warm for 30 minutes.
