Our gold mini pearl rings are brass with 14kt gold plating. In order to preserve the plating for as long as possible, we recommend removing your jewellery when you are cleaning (especially with harsh chemicals), swimming (especially in chlorine), exercising (sweating can affect the plating) or using perfumes, lotions and soaps regularly.

MATERIAL

Beads: Acrylic and Brass with Rubberised Coating
Jump Rings: Brass
Cord: Cotton Clasp: Brass

We use a variety of techniques to make this piece, include casting, polishing and high-quality plating. The result is a super light, fine finish. The metal used in ELK jewellery is nickel free and meets the EU REACH standards.

MAKER

This style was made by Korean company Cielo Sereno at the factory that they work with, located in Qingdao, China. Cielo is owned and operated by Eun Hee Kim who we know as Olive. She is an incredible, creative woman with a young family. Olive established her business in 2004 after she graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Fashion in London.

As they operate as an agent for us, we are actively working with Olive to increase transparency across the entire operation. Olive works directly with the factory each month conveying our designs and ensuring our vision is brought to life.

The factory is a member of Sedex and undergoes regular social compliance audits.
